WeRide (NASDAQ: WRD, HKEX: 0800), a global leader in autonomous driving technology, announced its financial results for Q3 2025 on October 24, 2025.

In Q3, the company achieved revenue of US$24.0 million, up 144.3% year-over-year, marking one of the largest quarterly increases since its founding. Robotaxi revenue reached US$5.0 million, up 761.0% year-over-year, continuing its strong growth momentum. Gross profit totaled US$7.9 million, a year-over-year increase of 1,123.9%, with a gross margin of 32.9%, up 26.4 percentage points year-over-year, maintaining the company’s industry-leading position. Net loss was US$43.3 million, down 70.5% year-over-year, while adjusted net loss (Non-IFRS) was US$38.7 million. WeRide's autonomous vehicle fleet now exceeds 1,600 units, including about 750 Robotaxis.

In November, Robotaxi has received a driverless permit from Switzerland’s Federal Roads Office (FEDRO), authorizing it to test and operate autonomously on public roads in the Furttal region, Zurich. With this approval, WeRide becomes the world's only technology company with vehicles holding autonomous driving permits in eight countries: Switzerland, China, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, France, Belgium, and the United States.

  • In October 2025, WeRide obtained the world’s first city-level L4 autonomous driving commercial license outside the United States. The driverless commercial operation starts on the Uber platform on Yas Island this month and will gradually cover additional areas in Abu Dhabi city area.

  • With the upcoming fully driverless commercial launch and the ongoing improvements in vehicle utilization, WeRide’s Robotaxi services in Abu Dhabi are on track to achieve breakeven unit economics. q3 3.jpeg

  • In August 2025, built on the commercial operation of the existing Robotaxi models, WeRide launched 24-hour fully driverless commercial operations of its brand new Robotaxi GXR in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. Meanwhile, the pick-up/drop-off-free (PU/DO-free) feature has been launched simultaneously in both Beijing and Guangzhou, further enhancing the user ride experience.

  • In August 2025, WeRide launched 24/7 Robotaxi testing in Beijing, advancing towards full-day service.

  • Commercial Robotaxi operations continue to expand across key areas including Beijing Daxing International Airport and Yizhuang.

  • In August 2025, WeRide officially launched the one-stage end-to-end L2+ ADAS solution, with mass production and deployment on vehicles expected within 2025.
  • In November, WeRide achieved SOP for its one-stage end-to-end L2+ ADAS solution. In the future, it will support Chery EXEED ES and ET via pre-installation and OTA (Over-the-Air).
  • WeRide's one-stage end-to-end L2+ ADAS solution has been nominated by GAC Group for several of its mass market passenger car models.
